Sydney Roosters playmaker Sam Walker says he has no idea why he is regularly targeted by his South Sydney namesake Cody Walker, who made headlines for an off-the-ball incident the last time the bitter rivals clashed., 21, then shoving him in the back without the ball, which led to a Roosters penalty and eventually a try in round three.
Walker was a ballboy for the Ipswich Jets when he used to watch Cody running around for Easts Tigers in the Queensland Cup. “I’m not too sure what’s happened there, I try to stay out of most of it,” Walker told this masthead when asked about being a target for Cody.“The last time we played, he didn’t hurt me with the push, we got the penalty out of it, and it also gave me a bit of a breather.
