SOME Sabahans are taking a sceptical approach as the baggage of history clouds the entry of peninsula-based ruling party Bersatu into the state today. First impressions by locals who are not members of any political party tend to be negative, with the launch of the Sabah Bersatu chapter reminding them of Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s attempt to exert control over state politics again.
