VICE President Sara Duterte-Carpio on Sunday expressed her 'love and gratitude' to mothers for being 'selfless' in taking care of their families.
'They ask for so little and yet they give so much. Through them, we are blessed, guided and supported into a life of care, courage, compassion and love,' she said in her Mother's Day message.The untiring efforts of mothers, she added, 'plant in our hearts the countless ways we can make this world a better place for others.
''Their sacrifices and unconditional love have molded us to become the persons that we are today and what we will become in the future — inspiring us to dream and encouraging us to pursue these dreams,' the Vice President said.She lauded women who 'have taken the enormous role of being mothers of children outside of their homes' and provided 'support, care, and guidance to children in our communities.
