Voting for state polls, Kuala Terengganu by-election ends

Vote counting will take place from now.

As of 4pm, the turnout in Kedah was at 60%, Kelantan , Terengganu , Penang , Selangor and Negri Sembilan .The Election Commission had expected the voter turnout in the six states' election to exceed 85%.

The state polls had 9.78 million eligible voters. It involves 245 seats - 36 in Kedah, Kelantan , Terengganu , Penang , Selangor , and Negri Sembilan .
