Voters will have to straighten out the mess the General Assembly created | Opinion

It is in everybody’s interest to get the General Assembly back in business.

So the good people in Allegheny County have the responsibility to bring the House back to full strength.

Voters in the 32nd, 34th, and 35th legislative districts will vote on Feb. 7 to fill out the remainder of the terms of the Representatives who previously held those seats. These are the folks who have been tapped to run in those Allegheny County elections on Feb. 7:House 34th District – Democrat Abigail Salisbury of Swissvale; Republican Robert Pagane of Pittsburgh.Once again, it is the strength of our democracy that the citizens rule.
