The Melaka Sports Council is deciding about the coach’s suspension today.

Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh said the ministry will continue its independent investigation into the volleyball coach who slapped his teenage players despite the statements put out by the team and a parent of one of the players.

— Hannah Yeoh January 3, 2023 Not too long ago, a viral clip showed a volleyball coach slapping two of his players during the recent 2022 Malaysia Youth U-14 Volleyball Championship in Johor which took place from 14 to 16 December.The father of one of the players said he had forgiven the coach and hoped no disciplinary action will be taken against him.
