A vivo executive confirmed that their 2nd foldable is coming on April 2023. While a leaker revealed key details of the phone.
vivo to unveil X Fold 2 in April!The phone maker's Vice President of Products, Huang Tao, shared in his Weibo post that the Fold X 2 will be showcased at the Boao Forum 2023. He also continued that there will be leaks and photos of it that will surface on the net ahead of its launch in April. However, he did not disclose the exact date when it will be revealed next month.
Meanwhile, the known tipster Digital Chat Station shared details regarding the upcoming foldable. It is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will be the first in its category to debut the latest SD flagship chipset. Other leaked info suggested in a now-deleted post from DCS is the 4,800mAh battery with USB-C 120W fast charging. Moreover, it is expected to arrive with a Sony IMX866 sensor with OIS, and V2 ISP hinting that it could be the same sensor found on the 50MP shooter of the vivo X90 and iQOO 11 Pro.
