Virgin Australia has dropped the prices on more than 500,000 seats with domestic fares to start from $45 and international prices as low as $425.
The airline made the announcement on Tuesday, revealing flights to popular locations like the Sunshine Coast from Sydney have been reduced to just $69 , costing passengers a total of $138 for Economy Lite fares.There are also one-way flights to Launceston in Tasmania from $59, also one way from Sydney, with the cheapest ticket to Ballina Byron, from $45, costing $90 for a return.
Hamilton Island fares are also reduced with flights from Sydney starting from $125 for both directions, while Sydney to Cairns will cost from $129. “With every single Virgin Australia route now on sale, popular destinations can be booked for less than the cost of a taxi ride, so we are encouraging travellers to get in fast as these incredible fares will not last long.”
