Following the viral Malaysian TikToker, Abang Bas, and his intimacy with his niece, many social media users are highlighting their concern regarding the
matter. Just recently, another screenshot of “intimacy” between an uncle and his niece has gone viral again.
Many people called the act “cute, sweet”, and 1 of them even jokingly offered to trade places with the niece because her uncle is handsome.“I have to wait until my niece is born.”What shocked Helmi about the post was the staggering amount of people who were on board with the intimacy, which he dubbed “pedophile enablers.”
“People don’t know what type of touch is deemed safe anymore. They don’t know how to identify sexual jokes, which has elements of prohibited love.” Social media users who came across Helmi’s post were also baffled to see many netizens are enabling the act of child grooming.“I suggest everyone watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. We’ll be more aware of what goes on around us.”
