A retired public servant was found fainting in a paddy field while fishing with his relatives. The incident occurred around 9:15 AM when the man, aged 66, was reportedly in the water retrieving his fishing net.

“Selepas sarapan ayah keluar dengan menunggang motosikal ke lokasi kejadian bersama tiga rakannya dengan menaiki perahu. Tuan Muhammad Hishamuddin berkata dia difahamkan kejadian berlaku apabila bapanya turun ke dalam air dari perahu yang dinaiki mereka berempat untuk mengangkat pukat. Menurut beliau, usaha mencari dan menyelamat turut dibantu penduduk kampung menggunakan bot di kawasan sawah yang ditenggalami air sedalam kira-kira tiga meter itu.
