“Emotionally. It was a journey like, I suppose the two of us, there were journeys to Dublin, and we made them into train journeys and overnights. I thought we bonded well, through it. Viewers praised the open and honest chat with Gerry as he spoke to Tommy about prostate cancer “changing you from the man you were before the diagnosis to the man you are after the diagnosis”.
