Conor McGregor has traded the Octagon for the big screen as he makes his film debut as an unhinged hitman in Prime Video’s new action flick, Road House
Viewers are full of praise for Conor McGregor's acting chops as the Irish MMA makes his big screen debut in the new action film Road House.
However he soon discovers that not everything is what it seems in the tropical paradise as he comes up against a ruthless gun-for-hire, played by McGregor. The action flick has been earning positive reviews from those watching it at home, with McGregor being singled out for praise for his performance.
Another viewer was full of praise for McGregor's screen debut and called for the Irishman to be cast in the Fast and Furious franchise. "Get Conor McGregor in the F&F universe immediately," they said on social media. "As screen debuts go, he does a great job in #Roadhouse but seeing him square up to Dom and the crew is where he needs to be."
Many viewers believed that McGregor's role required little acting, with one person writing, "The new Road House Movie was pretty good, very enjoyable! Conor is pretty funny in the movie basically himself," while another added, "The new Road House movie was OK. Nothing more nothing less. Conor McGregor's acting.. what acting? Was he not just portraying himself the last couple of years?".
