(Reuters) - Japan have been awarded a 3-0 victory after North Korea called off a World Cup qualifier between the sides that was scheduled to be held in Pyongyang earlier this month, Japan's Football Association (JFA) said on Saturday.
The 22-second clip has been shared on several social media platforms, prompting comments from the public calling for action to be taken against the perpetrator.
Tagging Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, an X account user named @RajaMohdShahrim called for the authorities to identify the social media user. The man in the video was heard uttering: “Cari pasal ya? ”Another user @heiapeni said: “CCTV must have captured . Where’s the perpetrator?”
On Facebook, user Guy Laroche said: “If you want to boycott, then do it. But not to the extent of damaging the store’s goods. That’s haram and sinful. Islam never taught this.”The video also shows the logos of companies KK Supermart and Xin Jian Chang Sdn Bhd who were involved in the commercial socks issue.
