According to the video shared through his Instagram, Aereon Wong had parked his car at the open parking lot by the Cochrane MRT station, opposite MyTown Shopping Centre. He parked right by the guardhouse at the entrance at 7pm, but when he returned at around 11pm, the owner found his vehicle damaged with the windscreen window, side view mirror and driver-side door handle smashed.After further inspection, Aereon found pieces of broken wood on top of his car and the surrounding area.
After Aereon posted the video, many netizens shared their shock at the incident. Some advised the content creator to check for any footage from dashboard cameras or CCTVs in the surrounding area, hoping that it could give him more information. The incident also had many people pointing out the issue with open space parking lots, saying that many aren’t well-managed, so incidents like these are bound to happen.
