Datuk Red, legally known as Datuk Seri Adnan Abu, officially divorced his first wife, Datin Seri Sharifah Norshafila, at the Kuala Selangor District Syariah Lower Court earlier today . The proceedings were overseen by Shariah Judge Mohd Nurulazhar Mohd Tohar. Before the decree was read, the couple took a moment to shake hands and apologise to each other, marking the end of their marriage on amicable terms.According to Gempak, the entrepreneur read out the divorce decree in court.
Netizens took to social media to share their thoughts on the couple's separation. Some couldn't understand why Sharisah divorced her husband despite his kindness, while some said that 'Datin should just ask for the alimony, it's his responsibility.' However, most netizens expressed their understanding and prayed for Datuk Red's well-being.This divorce comes after the mother-of-five filed for separation in late January.
