The winner of the competition, which is brought to you by RSVP Magazine and prize partners Blue Pet Co, was announced at the Pet Expo at the National Show Centre in Swords Co. Dublin
After sifting through hundreds of entries and tallying thousands of votes, the crowned champion of Ireland’s Next Top Madra is none other than Victoria, the charismatic chow chow.
Her victory was celebrated in style with a delectable, personalised dog-friendly peanut butter cake courtesy of Bon A Pet Treats, the renowned pet-friendly bakery. The couple have 14 dogs at home in Ardee, 13 of which are chow chows. Kevin says they started adding to their family after adopting their first dog Cara the cavachon.Red FM’s Neil Prendeville was the MC for the big day and all of the finalists received a goodie bag worth €63, containing tubs of Blue Pet Co’s healthy dog supplements and a GoFuel bar.
