A 19-year-old man has been identified as the person killed in a crash on Jan. 8 in Los Gatos, according to the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office.
Tyler Scheetz of Palo Alto died after sustaining injuries in a two-car collision at the intersection of Blossom Hill and Belgatos roads at 9:52 a.m. Authorities reported at the time of the crash that two other people had been taken to a hospital for treatment, but the nature of their injuries was not specified.
Authorities have not released information about how they believe the crash unfolded. Roadways across the Bay Area were under heavy rainfall that week, with road washouts and fallen trees reported all over the region.
