SA Federation of Trade Unions general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi has dismissed his pending suspension as"unlawful and unconstitutional".

In the letter sent to Vavi, Saftu president Mac Chavalala listed “illegal violations of the constitution, breach of administration and finance policy and disrespecting, undermining constitutional structures, decisions and resolutions". “It is clear that you are trying to lay the ground for a predetermined illegal and unconstitutional decision taken elsewhere,” Vavi said.
