As part of the celebration for National Women’s Month in Valenzuela City, the city government held the 2023 Buntis Congress which was attended by 118 expectant mothers on Wednesday, March 15.
The event, which carried the theme “Nanay na Valenzuelano, Ngiting Protektado!” covered various topics for the attendees from the city’s 33 barangays including oral health and dangers of home delivery for pregnant women. It was held at the Valenzuela City Town Hall.
He also encouraged the women to apply as barangay health workers after they have given birth while another project is being planned for male residents in June.
