PETALING JAYA: Independent men's doubles pair Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong are one win away from their second World Tour title of the season after storming into the final of the Taiwan Open.
They recovered from an opening game defeat to beat Denmark's Mathias Boe-Mads Conrad-Petersen 18-21,21-11,21-12 in 56 minutes at the Taipei Arena on Saturday .
V Shem-Wee Kiong will next face the winners of the other semi-final clash between South Korea's Choi Sol-gyu-Seo Seung-jae and Taiwan's Lee Yang-Wang Chi-lin.Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying failed to join their compatriots in tomorrow's final after their gallant run in the mixed doubles event ended.Stay tuned for a new offer coming to you soon.
