UTSA products Sincere McCormick, Spencer Burford run through NFL combine

Former UTSA running back Sincere McCormick ran the 40-yard dash in 4.60 seconds on Friday at the NFL combine in Indianapolis, wrapping up the day with the running backs after former Roadrunner Spencer Burford and the offensive line group held their workouts in the afternoon.
McCormick’s 40-yard time ranked 24th of 27 participating running backs. He also posted a 33½-inch vertical leap to rank 13th out of 31 entrants and a 9-foot-8 broad jump to rank 27th of 30. Burford finished 30th among 50 offensive linemen with a 5.19-second 40-yard dash. His vertical jump of 27½ inches was 25th of 48 participants, his 8-foot-9 broad jump ranked 32nd of 49, and his 4.73-second mark in the 20-yard shuttle was 23rd of 41.
The 40-yard runs for McCormick and Burford were broadcast on NFL Network along with a variety of drills designed to measure agility and change of direction. McCormick completed each of his route-running repetitions without a drop. Burford and McCormick were the third and fourth Roadrunners in history to compete at the combine, joining David Morgan in 2016 and Marcus Davenport in 2018. Former UTSA cornerback Tariq Woolen will also be participating in defensive back drills Sunday.
