In Utah, Halloween celebrations are taken seriously, and in South Jordan, a group of neighbors is breaking with the traditional haunted house to create a life-size Barbie Dream House instead.

Eighteen residents who live on the island of Daybreak in South Jordan, about 20 miles south of Salt Lake City, decided to come together to create a “Barbie” themed neighborhood for Halloween. There’s even a Real World House that features a sign that says: “Real World This Way” and is undecorated outside of that.on its way to a $7.4 billion box office — causing South Jordan police to order road closures for “public safety” as other residents have complained about the traffic spike.
Despite the island being blocked to non-resident drivers, the curious aren’t stuck in the “Real World.”
