El cantante estadounidense Usher fue elegido este domingo por la NFL para actuar en el espectáculo del descanso del Súper Bowl de 2024, la gran final de la temporada del fútbol americano, que se jugará el próximo 11 de febrero el Allegiant Stadium de Las Vegas.
“Es el honor de mi vida añadir a mi lista sueños una exhibición en el Súper Bowl. Estoy ansioso por ofrecer un espectáculo distinto a todo lo que hayan visto de mí antes. Gracias a mis seguidores y a todos quienes hicieron posible esta oportunidad”, dijo Usher en declaraciones facilitadas por la NFL.
En su exitosa carrera, Usher, nacido en Dallas en 1978, vendió más de 80 millones de discos y se consagró como una estrella global, como cantante, bailarín y empresario. “Usher es un icono cuya música ha dejado una marca imborrable a nivel cultural. No podríamos estar más felices por tenerle este año”, dijo Seth Dubowsky, jefe de música de la NFL.
