Lincoln Riley and the Trojans land another marquee quarterback in the 6-foot-1, 195-pound sophomore from Carrollton High in Georgia
His commitment is a major victory for USC on the national recruiting circuit, as Lewis had offers from schools such as Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M. Just starting his sophomore year, his first steps in a Trojans uniform are a long way off.
But in the long game, if Riley doesn’t get beckoned to the NFL, the Trojans’ quarterback plans for the future appear set: Nelson following Williams, and Lewis there behind him to take the baton.
