A rescue operation is underway after a United States military aircraft carrying more than 20 personnel crashed in the Tiwi Islands.
A United States military aircraft believed to be carrying 23 personnel has crashed off the Northern Territory coast during a training exercise.
NT Police have confirmed they are responding to the crash. A Careflight aircraft has also been deployed.READ MOREThe Department of Defence said the incident occurred during Exercise Predator's Run 2023.
