US logs 1,021 new virus deaths

THE US recorded another 1,021 coronavirus deaths over 24 hours, according to a Johns Hopkins University tracker yesterday at 8.30pm . This brings total deaths in the country to 108,120, with more than 1.87 million confirmed infections, said the Baltimore-based institution.
