US Covid-19 fatalities exceed 50,000

THE US’ coronavirus death toll today surpassed 50,000, a running tally by Johns Hopkins University showed. According to the tracker, 50,031 people have now died in the country from Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic, with more than 870,000 infections.
