With the new URC season getting under way this weekend, it’s time to examine how the South African teams are shaping up. Next up: The Bulls.
The Vodacom Bulls have had a busy summer reshaping their squad, highlighted by South Africa international Le Roux returning home from Japan. White will look for Le Roux’s flair to see the Blues make strides after their sixth-placed finish last season following their runners-up performance in the inaugural URC campaign.
Speaking about his appointments, White said: “Marcell and Ruan are experienced campaigners who understand the demands of playing in three competitions and they have done well in leading us over the last few seasons. Ruan stepped up last season when Marcell took his sabbatical and when he returned, the two of them continued to collaborate until the end of the season,”
