According to a TMZ report, Ohio State had a “no hoodies” rule for players during Meyer’s tenure as coach. And, the report said, the Buckeyes used a photo of Trayvon Martin to during a 2017 team meeting in reinforcing the plan.

The claim was first made by former Ohio State defensive back Marcus Williamson, and Meyer initially denied it was so, per TMZ. But, Tuesday, Meyer said that he spoke with ex-Buckeye safety Tyvis Powell and “learned the photo was actually used,” TMZ reported.“I wasn’t there ,” he added. “None of the coaches were present. It was a support staffer who was in error and apologized.
