The incident involves a content creator known for producing urban exploration videos. Recently, his latest video showed his exploration in Aokigahara Forest located near Mount Fuji in Japan.
In the video, he explored alone to examine the forest's condition and learn more about its dark stories. Aokigahara Forest is infamous for its association with spirits and suicides due to numerous tragic events. During the exploration, at minute 1:18, the creator whistled without fear and inadvertently captured a figure resembling a woman in the recording. He was unaware of the presence just meters behind him.
He also found several final notes left by people in the forest. After uploading the video to TikTok, many viewers commented and shared screenshots highlighting the woman figure behind him. According to his comments, he was in a public area of the forest where filming is allowed, while another section is restricted to visitors. Some speculated that the figure was just another tourist doing the same activity.
