UPSR candidates in haze-affected areas to be given face masks

Students sitting for the UPSR in haze-affected areas in Sarawak will be provided face masks as a precaution.

The face masks have been handed over to the state education department in Kuching, Samarahan, Serian and Sri Aman, the head of the Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee secretariat, Ismail Mahedin, said A total of 40,448 students are sitting for the UPSR in Sarawak. The Mathematics and Science papers are scheduled for Sept 10 to 12.
