WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The Federal Communications Commission on Thursday proposed to fine Chinese-based video doorbell manufacturer Eken nearly $735,000 for providing false information and after security concerns were raised.
KUALA LUMPUR: Another Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia cadet has been charged at the Sessions Court here with causing hurt to a junior using a spiked boot.
According to the charge sheet, Mohd Adil allegedly voluntarily caused hurt on Muhammad Haziq Iqbal, 19, by stepping the victim's stomach using a spiked boot. The charge under Section 323 of the Penal Code carries imprisonment up to one year or fine up to RM2,000 or both, if convicted.Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohd Sabri Othman offered bail at RM10,000 in one surety.
Lawyer Nurul Diyana Basher from the National Legal Aid Foundation , who appeared for Mohd Adil, said that the accused was no longer considered a young offender due to his age.
