IPOH: Returning Malaysians who have been immunised overseas can update their vaccination status at the nearest district health office.

Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali said those who had yet to update their MySejahtera app could provide the necessary documents at the nearest district health office for the information to be updated.“It can then be uploaded on to MySejahtera,” he said when contacted.

“If they have the necessary documents, I believe the health officers would have taken all the information to be updated into the app.Separately, Dr Noor Azmi said only the digital Covid-19 vaccination certificate on the MySejahtera app and the white vaccination card issued by the Health Ministry were recognised.“People just need to show the certificate on their mobile phone or the white card if they are stopped at roadblocks or are asked to show proof at eateries.

It was reported that printed versions of the digital certificates found on the MySejahtera app were being sold for between RM12 and RM15.
