Police in Oakland said they have surveillance video of a man they believe shot a 15-month-old girl Monday evening.
Police said the girl's family was driving toward the intersection of 12th Avenue and E 15th Street around 6:15 p.m. when they heard gunfire.
First responders rendered aid to the toddler until an ambulance could transport her to Benioff Children's Hospital. She underwent surgery for a gunshot wound to the abdomen and is in stable condition.
