This week's report, dated July 14, has 18 states listed in the"red zone," which means they had more than 100 new cases per 100,000 population last week. The report also recommends counties in the red zone should revert to more stringent pandemic measures like closing bars and gyms, limiting social gatherings to 10 people or fewer and requiring masks “at all times outside the home.”
