Kota Kinabalu: The University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) and University of Technology Sarawak (UTS) are exploring potential avenues for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

A delegation from UTS, led by Vice Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Khairuddin, visited UCSF’s campus in Sembulan earlier this week to discuss areas of mutual interest. Both institutions expressed keen interest in collaborating on research projects, student and staff exchange programmes, joint conferences, and other academic activities.“We are excited to explore collaborative possibilities with UTS in strategic areas that align with our shared aspiration to provide accessible, quality education,” said Rafiq.

He highlighted the potential for joint research initiatives focused on Borneo development studies and heritage conservation – areas of common interest for the two universities.
