It is not easy to build a strong, united Bangsa Malaysia as it will require big sacrifices from every community, he says.
Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah today emphasised the importance of protecting the people's unity, cautioning that it takes a long time to build, but can be undone in the blink of an eye.
"I am aware that it is not easy to build a Bangsa Malaysia that is strong and united as it will require big sacrifices from every community," he said."We need to always maintain racial sensitivity and do not interfere in the affairs of another race, particularly if it concerns the religion of others.
"I believe people still remember the dark history of racial riots in the early stages of the country's independence.
