Holidaymakers looking to jet out to the United States from the Sunshine State will now be able to access more services under a new $200 million deal.
From December 1, the airline will be launching new direct flights from Brisbane to Los Angeles along with ramping up their popular Brisbane to San Francisco non-stop route from three days a week to once a day.

Picture: Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto via Getty Images Australia’s national carrier Qantas, however, remains the sole airline to provide daily BNE to LA flights. “As Brisbane Airport welcomes more than 75 per cent of all international arrivals into Queensland, partnering with United to increase SFO frequencies and add new non-stop LAX services is terrific news for tourism and hospitality businesses from Coolangatta to the Cape,” Mr de Graff said.
