United Airlines flight attendants across the country are pushing for new contracts, including better pay.Thursday morning in Austin stopped the flight attendants from coming out to make their voices heard outside of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Flight attendants represented by the Association of Flight Attendants say they haven’t been given what they rightfully deserve for years. “It is time to come to the negotiating table with proposals that we can actually get behind and actually agree to,” said Clark. “During a time where we are raking in record profits, and yet the people that provide the most value, face-to-face time with our customers, they are asking for concessions for us! How does that make sense?” Clark said.In a statement, the airline said:
