KOTA ISKANDAR: Politicians should all come together to help the people amid the Covid-19 pandemic instead of being at each other’s throats, says Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar.
“This virus is already spreading among politicians.
Sultan Ibrahim added that those infected by the “disunity virus” tended to forget themselves and the welfare of the people as long as they got what they wanted to serve their self interest.“They become provocateurs to stir up sensational issues to fan the people’s hatred, ” he said, adding that he hoped that such action be contained to maintain peace and unity.
“They should be an example to the other state assemblies, ” he said, adding that everyone should work together. This followed the ruckus in the state assembly meetings in Melaka and Perak, which were recorded using mobile phones.
