UNION CITY — An person died this weekend after a shooting police said Sunday they are investigating as a homicide.
In a statement Sunday night, police said officers responded around 2:10 a.m. Saturday to Eric Court and Kenita Way for a possible shooting. When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite emergency life-saving measures, Alameda County Fire Department firefighters and paramedics pronounced the person dead at the scene.
A police spokesperson contacted Sunday night declined to share information beyond the statement, including the victim’s age or gender. No information was shared about any suspect or vehicle.
