Navarro-Cuevas who had been wanted since early March, was arrested at Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark Friday at 12:40 a.m.
Hermes Navarro-Cox, 26, of Union City, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl. A Union City man has been charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a girl who was 12 at the time, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
An investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit showed that Hermes Navarro-Cuevas, 26, committed the crimes in January and February this year.
