Unimas student died from late intervention, says Sarawak minister

THE country’s youngest Covid-19 victim, a 23-year-old Universiti Malaysia Sarawak student who died yesterday, could have been saved if she had sought treatment early, state Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Abdul Karim Hamzah said. Karim said the final-year computer science and information technology student should have gone for the Covid-19 tests when both her parents were tested positive.
