ALEXANDRIA UPDATE | No injuries were reported and no threat was found after police responded to a shots fired call at Alexandria Jr.-Sr. High School.
ALEXANDRIA — Police and first responders investigated a shots fired called at Alexandria Junior-Senior High School Monday morning.
In the wake of the heavy police presence, calls were made to parents of junior high and high school students to pick their students up at Alexandria Baptist Church at 2107 S. Park Avenue. According to Keegan at a 12:30 p.m. update, the process of evacuating students and reunifying them with their families is continuing.
Other school districts such as Anderson, Elwood and Mississinewa went on special security as a precaution due to the situation in Alexandria.This is developing.
