Emmanuel Jeniffer Velu Velayutham, 31, pleaded guilty to stealing 13 Nivea deodorant bottles worth RM162.50 from a 99 Speedmart in Kuala Lumpur on January 1st. He was fined RM1,500 and sentenced to one day in prison.
KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang penganggur didenda RM1,500 dan penjara sehari oleh Mahkamah Majistret di sini hari ini selepas mengaku bersalah atas pertuduhan mencuri deodoran di sebuah kedai serbaneka, dua hari lalu.
Tertuduh didakwa di bawah Seksyen 380 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan hukuman penjara maksimum 10 tahun atau dengan denda atau kedua-duanya sekali.
