CANADIAN Prime Minister Justin Trudeau yesterday resumed his re-election campaign with a promise to lower taxes, and once again had to apologise over images showing him in blackface make-up.
The 47-year-old, already under fire for an ethics lapse and other controversies, was dealt a fresh blow after decades-old photos and videos resurfaced last week of him engaging in activities that he has acknowledged as “racist”.
