Renowned international law professor John Dugard criticizes the UN, Security Council, and ICC for their failure to maintain peace, respect human rights, and hold violators accountable in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Dugard's remarks were made during a webinar hosted by the University of Pretoria's Centre For Human Rights.
The UN, its Security Council and the International Criminal Court have all failed the international community and the people of Palestine .
Renowned international law professor John Dugard, who previously worked for the UN and the International Court of Justice, says:"International institutions whose task it is to maintain international peace and security, to respect human rights and to secure accountability of those responsible for violating international humanitarian and international human rights law have failed dismally." Dugard was speaking at a webinar hosted by the University of Pretoria's Centre For Human Rights on Wednesday, under the topic: An international law analysis of the conflict between Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.
