This makes UMS the first university in Malaysia to collaborate with Unicef in attending to such issues.
UMS vice-chancellor Prof D Kamarudin D Mudin exchanging agreements with Unicef’s deputy representative to Malaysia, Rodaslaw Rzehak, in Kota Kinabalu yesterday.
UMS vice-chancellor Prof D Kamarudin D Mudin said the unit would provide consultation services and training.“The unit will promote C4D as a cross-cutting strategy in the implementation of social development projects,” he said. Kamarudin said UMS would provide a platform for operations and human resources, consisting of academicians, while Unicef would provide a starting grant and its expertise.
