PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) urging it to probe the rollout of the 5G network by Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB).
It also urged Putrajaya to carry out a thorough investigation of DNB to ensure good governance and transparency in the 5G rollout.
“We call for DNB to reveal the actual cost of the network rollout alongside a detailed explanation on the wholesale rates for telecommunications,” the memorandum read. “Bumiputra firms will then be left far behind in both national and international markets if they do not have the opportunity to compete in the digital economy,” it said.
