Umno Sabah divisions need propose five names each for GE15 candidates, says Bung Moktar

KOTA KINABALU: All Umno divisions in Sabah are asked to propose five names of candidates for the coming general elections.

Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said the list of names must be given to the state liaison committee immediately for early screening.

He said every name given would be screened through by a special committee based on feedback from the grassroots, observation from members of the special committee and reports from certain agencies.Bung said the personality of a candidate would be the main element seen by the people and this should be the main criteria for Umno and Barisan Nasional.
